UPPSC PCS (Paper II (CSAT))

The UPPSC PCS recruitment exam is conducted for recruiting candidates for the post of Upper Subordinate Services (P.C.S.), ACF, and RFO vacancies. The UPPSC PCS Selection Process consists of three phases i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personality Test. The UPPCS Prelims comprise Paper I and Paper II. The exam is conducted in two shifts on the same day. The Prelims Paper I consist of questions related to general knowledge and paper II known as CSAT consists of questions related to English & Comprehension, Logical reasoning & general mental ability, Mathematics, Hindi, Interpersonal Skill, and Decision making. The Marking scheme in Prelims paper I is 1.33 marks for correct answers and 0.44 marks for wrong answers. The Marking scheme in Prelims paper II is 2 marks for correct answers and 0.66 marks for wrong answers. The Prelims paper is an offline-based exam consisting of multiple choice questions. After scoring the cutoff marks the candidates should have to appear for the main exam after that should have to appear for a personality test.
