Eligible candidates must be between 21 and 35 years old, possess a Bachelor’s degree, and hold an approved computer certificate (such as CCC, O-Level, or a CS degree). Following the newly updated selection criteria, the exam structure has transitioned into a clear three-stage evaluation process that eliminates any interview round. Stage I is a 3-hour, 200-mark objective preliminary exam covering General Studies, Hindi, and English with no negative marking. Stage II is a conventional pen-and-paper descriptive Mains exam testing essay, precis, and translation skills for 150 marks. Finally, Stage III requires candidates to clear a 50-mark English computer typing test requiring a minimum speed of 25 WPM. The application fee stands at Rs. 1,200 for General/OBC and Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST/EWS candidates belonging to Uttar Pradesh.
