CPCT Exam 2026 - Free Mock Tests & Exam Pattern

Government of MP, by its order C3 – 15/ 2014/1/3 dated 26 February 2015 has recognized Computer Proficiency & Certification Test (CPCT) as mandatory eligibility criteria for positions in various Government departments, where working knowledge of computers and typing skill are basic job requirements. Candidates looking for Government Jobs, are required to participate in CPCT Assessment and get their score card. This score card will be referred by Government sector recruiters to evaluate their computer & key board proficiencies and allied skills. An eligible Candidate can apply and appear for CPCT any number of times to improve his/ her score / performance, if any. If a Candidate is unable to attend the test after successful registration for whatsoever reason; such candidates can appear in the next exam. However, the candidate would have to reapply with fresh application and pay the required fees for the test. The CPCT score card will be valid for 7 years from the Exam Date.

Tier I is a 60-minute online CBT with 100 questions across four subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension — each carrying 50 marks. Every correct answer earns +2 marks; every wrong answer deducts 0.5 marks.
