SSC CHSL 2026 Exam: Free Mock Tests, Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The Staff Selection Commission is an authorized organization working under the Government of India. The SSC does all the required procedures for the recruitment of efficient candidates into various posts in Departments & Ministries in the Government of India. The SSC releases notifications every year for the recruitment of skilled applicants. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the exams conducted by SSC. The Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination is conducted by SSC for the recruitment of Data Entry Operator (DEO), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), and Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant posts. Selection Procedure: The Commission selects the candidates based on two stages i.e. the selection process will consist of  Two Tiers of CBT Exam: Tier I Tier II Document Verification Tier II also includes Typing Test/Skill Test Examination for the post of DEO, PA/SA, LDC, and Court Clerk. Tier I is a 60-minute online CBT with 100 questions across four subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension — each carrying 50 marks. Every correct answer earns +2 marks; every wrong answer deducts 0.5 marks.
