Maharashtra Police Constable

The selection process for the Maharashtra Police Constable post is a comprehensive, multi-stage assessment designed to ensure candidates meet both the physical and intellectual demands of the job.To be eligible, a candidate must first be a Citizen of India and demonstrate proficiency in the Marathi language (reading, writing, and speaking). The minimum Educational Qualification required is a pass in the Class 12th (HSC) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board. Regarding age, candidates must generally be between 18 and 28 years old, with age relaxation provided for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, etc.) as per the rules of the Maharashtra government. Physical measurements are strictly enforced: male candidates must have a minimum height of 165 cm and a chest measurement of at least 79 cm unexpanded, with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. Female candidates must have a minimum height of 155 cm.
